Take your bicycle or mountain bike
Whether you prefer a road bike or a mountain bike, from Molières you can set off to discover the beautiful landscapes and magnificent villages of the “Périgord Noir” and “Périgord Pourpre”
Mountain bikers will appreciate the hiking trails, prepared by the department. Some loops start or pass through Molières. These circuits are suitable for hikers, mountain bikers and horse riders. If you prefer longer routes, it is perfectly possible to combine several loops.
For road cycling enthusiasts – whether with an electric or normal bicycle -, the many quiet and charming country roads will make you happy.
However, don’t forget that in the Perigord, the terrain is very hilly. This certainly contributes to the charm of the country. But if you want to ride a bike here, it is better to have a minimum of physical preparation to fully enjoy your two-wheeled outings.

If you prefer a flatter route, from Molières, we can only advise you to put your bike on your carrier and take it by car to
- Lalinde to follow the Canal towards Mauzac or Tuilières, or to
- follow the “Voie Verte“, built in 2020, which takes you along the Dordogne river from the Tuilières dam to Bergerac.
