Where do we sleep?
At our gîte d’étape, you can choose between a double room or a bed in our shared room (dormitory). We can accommodate up to 6 people.
Shared room
The “shared room” is the “light” version of a dormitory: here, a maximum of four people can stay overnight. This room may be shared by people who do not know each other.
You will find two bunk beds made from solid wood, 100% French and, naturally, compliant with current safety standards. The four sleeping areas are separated from the rest of the room by small curtains to ensure everyone’s privacy. Having stayed in similar accommodation during our own backpacking trips, we know just how important it is to have a little space of your own.
The beds come with a blanket and a pillow. A fitted sheet and a pillowcase will be provided. You will need to bring either a top sheet or a sleeping bag. It is possible to rent a top sheet (to be booked in advance)*.
Each bed is also equipped with a power socket, a USB-A socket, a small shelf and individual lighting.

Double Room
If you’re travelling as a couple, or if you’re travelling alone but would prefer not to share your room with strangers, the double room might be just what you’re looking for.
In this room, you’ll find a solid wood double bed, 100% French and fully restored by us. We’ve provided a large wardrobe for storing all your belongings, which is particularly handy if you’re planning to stay with us for a few days.
The bed is equipped with two blankets and two pillows. A fitted sheet and two pillowcases will be provided. You will need to bring either top sheets or sleeping bags. Top sheets are available to rent (to be booked in advance)*.
Next to the bed, we have provided power sockets so you can charge your mobile phone or tablet.

To help prevent the spread of bedbugs, we ask not to place your bags or suitcases on the beds.
* It is forbidden to use blankets as bedding without a protective cover (see house rules (FR)).
